Following her showy season-long arc on the recent fifth season of "Homeland", Miranda Otto is reuniting with "Homeland" executive producer Howard Gordon on "24: Legacy".

Otto has been tapped as the female lead opposite Corey Hawkins in the Fox pilot, which reboots the "24" franchise with brand new characters.



Otto will play Rebecca Ingram, the blazing smart former head of CTU. Now married to Senator John Donovan, Rebecca is struggling with second thoughts about having left the counterterrorism agency.

"24: Legacy", written by "24" veterans Manny Coto and Evan Katz and directed by Stephen Hopkins, chronicles military hero Eric Carter’s (Hawkins) return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back – compelling him to ask CTU for help in saving his life, and stopping what potentially could be one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil.
