I've actually never seen Super Friends but I loved Justice League/Unlimited Batman and Flash were my favorite characters. The entire DCAU Timm and Dini created was just amazing really.

Wow- 40 years of Superfriends! Awesome! I hadn't thought about it, but yeah- that's true- the series started in 1973. "Justice League" isn't really part of it though- but it is another great DC Comics cartoon with the classic Justice League of America lineup, for the most part. Of course, if you wanted to count all the animated appearances of the JLA then you'd also need to count the Filmation shorts from the 1960s.
Anyway, I love all of it- particularly Superfriends in all its iterations! I love most all of DC Comics and Marvel Comics in general and the various live action and cartoon shows based on them- and the movies, of course. So yay! Another anniversary to celebrate! Happy 75th. Anniversary, Superman! And Happy 40th. Anniversary, Superfriends!

Although I remembered Superfriends, I'll take Justice League and anything Tim and Dini created. Superfriends has not aged well. Justice League is newer and fresher.

Superfriends was a Saturday Morning favorite, remember watching it back in the 70's through early 80's.

I love the "Superfriends" franchise, especially "Challenge of..." and the last two seasons under the "Super Powers" banner ("...The Legendary Super Powers Show" and "The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians")! |
