Default Your thoughts on the Super Friends Era from the past 40 years

Hey guys, now as you know, this year marks 40 years since the debut of Hanna-Barbera's Super Friends

Super Friends aired on abc from 1973-1986 and later returned to Cartoon Network as the Justice League in 2001

and so, in honor of 40 years of Super Friends, I would like to know, what is your thoughts on the following versions and themes to Super Friends?

and here they are:

Super Friends Featuring the Jr. Superfriends

The All New Superfriends Hour

Challenge of the Superfriends

The World's Greatest Superfriends

Superfriends: The Legendary Super Power Show

Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians

Justice League: The Cartoon Network Version

Please share your thoughts on all of this

Oh, and BTW, this show was on when Scooby-Doo and Family Feud w/the late Richard Dawson were still on abc and this show was on when all of the Barry & Enright Game Shows were on the air:

Break the Bank (abc/syn.) w/Tom Kennedy and the late Jack Barry, The Joker's Wild (CBS/syn.) w/the late Jack Barry, Jim Peck and the late Bill Cullen, The Hollywood Connection (syn.) w/Jim Lange, Play the Percentages (syn.) w/Geoff Edwards, The NEW Tic Tac Dough (CBS/syn.) w/Wink Martindale and Jim Caldwell, The awesome BULLSEYE (syn.) w/Jim Lange and the COOL Hot Potato (NBC) w/the late Bill Cullen

This show was also out when Warner Bros. Television and LORIMAR had shows like The Waltons, Apple's Way, Dallas, Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, Dream House w/Bob Eubanks and Debbie Bartlett, Alice w/Linda Lavin, Flo, The Dukes of Hazzard, Scarecrow and Mrs. King w/Kate Jackson, Bruce Boxleitner and Martha Smith, Night Court w/Harry Anderson, Richard Moll and John Larroquette and Growing Pains and Judge Wapner RULED The People's Court

Superfriends aired in reruns on WGN (now WGN America) and SuperStation WTBS (now known as TBS SuperStation) and on CN-Cartoon Network and airs occasionally on Boomerang

and plus, this show was on abc when 4 Reg Grundy Game Shows were still on the air:

$ale of the Century w/Jim Perry, The Original SCRABBLE w/Chuck Woolery, Time Machine w/John Davidson and Bruce Forsyth Hot Streak w/Bruce Forsyth

I've actually never seen Super Friends but I loved Justice League/Unlimited Batman and Flash were my favorite characters. The entire DCAU Timm and Dini created was just amazing really.

Wow- 40 years of Superfriends! Awesome! I hadn't thought about it, but yeah- that's true- the series started in 1973. "Justice League" isn't really part of it though- but it is another great DC Comics cartoon with the classic Justice League of America lineup, for the most part. Of course, if you wanted to count all the animated appearances of the JLA then you'd also need to count the Filmation shorts from the 1960s.
Anyway, I love all of it- particularly Superfriends in all its iterations! I love most all of DC Comics and Marvel Comics in general and the various live action and cartoon shows based on them- and the movies, of course.
So yay! Another anniversary to celebrate! Happy 75th. Anniversary, Superman! And Happy 40th. Anniversary, Superfriends!

Although I remembered Superfriends, I'll take Justice League and anything Tim and Dini created. Superfriends has not aged well. Justice League is newer and fresher.

Superfriends was a Saturday Morning favorite, remember watching it back in the 70's through early 80's.

I love the "Superfriends" franchise, especially "Challenge of..." and the last two seasons under the "Super Powers" banner ("...The Legendary Super Powers Show" and "The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians")!
