Jimmy Kimmel To Guest on "The Grinder"

The late-night host will play himself on Tuesday’s installment of "The Grinder", EW has learned exclusively.

In the episode, Dean (Rob Lowe), a.k.a. the man who used to star as the Grinder, is stunned — and jealous — when he sees Claire (Natalie Morales) kissing his frenemy, Timothy Olyphant (Timothy Olyphant), in the parking lot.



Meanwhile, the family firm’s new client is being accused of smashing windows at car dealerships across Boise, and Claire believes that he’s innocent.

To help win the case and impress Claire, Dean winds up calling in a favor and turning to the media — specifically to Kimmel — to help find that criminal.



“I need to tell you that there is a crime wave … that is currently sweeping … Boise, Idaho … one SUV window at a time,” Dean says in typical dramatic fashion to Kimmel in the scene, which may even include a dig at Olyphant.
