The black and white 1962-1969 set, hands down!!! The theme was the bomb as well.

i used to live in a townhouse when i was a kid and the carpet looked almost like the same carpet that was on the 73 78 match game set my friends used to play match game with me in that house i was always gene rayburn i even tried to sound like him but i didnt then and i dont now

Somehow I wouldnt doubt it!!!!!! (I hadnt ever seen the original black and white show but I imagine it was quite good)

Match Game 70s was the first version I saw (76 I think) and thats my favourite

I prefer the '60s set myself, particularly the square-shaped readout underneath the celebrity captain that flashed the team's score and the hexagons that revealed the Audience Match answers.

1973-78 was my favorite. I'm old enough to remember when these episodes were first run on CBS.

I associate the blue set with the depature of Richard Dawson and the sub-par "Match Game" syndicated version instead of the CBS version which was superior to me.
