TV Land was so cool at first!!!! I loved how it even showed old retro commercials!!! IDK what happened? Making the whole format change basically!!! They should rename the station and not call it TV Land anymore!!!

I think the choices for their new name should be Crap Land, TV Bland and Commercial Land.

Its funny. I actually taped over I Love Lucy on TV Land from around 2003. They were airing episodes because the Lucy movie was on CBS. That movie, btw, just recently aired on POP. Well, anyway, TV Land was so good years ago. And yes, I loved the retromercials as well. But you know, there's always youtube. At least you can watch them at YOUR leisure.

You might get a kick out of it; it's kind of like a "Golden Girls" of the new millennium, lol.

You can also find (separate) guest appearances by Bonnie Franklin, Pat Harrington, and Mackenzie Phillips. The show is out there somewhere in syndication. If it were on one consistent network, I could point out those episodes.

Hot In Cleveland is not even in the same league as Golden Girls.
Hot In Cleveland SUCKS in my opinion.
Golden Girls is a classic. Every episode is a golden gem.

Hmmm....I don't have one answer...

I think she was always adorable as Barbara and she 'grew' into a nice adult version while on the show

I agree that TVLand mostly sucks, but I liked 'Hot in Cleveland'...the whole premise of the show basically was about the gals 'looking for love' whether in the wrong or right places...and Betty White likes to play the feisty, little foul mouth octogenarian, so they all played well together. There were SO many guest stars that showed up from all the past tv shows of the cast that were fun to watch.

I always enjoyed her made-for-tv movies...I seem to remember one where she played a nun that left the church or maybe the other way around, she went into the nunnery?? but I do remember liking it.

Never seen her cooking show so have no comment.

I think she is still a very attractive lady!

To defend Mary Louise Wilson, if you go back to the autobio topic, wallpaper wasn't a direct quote from the book, just a word the OP used to convey she felt Val (and Mack) were more background to her. Being there only for one season, and with most of her scenes being with Ann and Schneider, I can buy that. I was going to ask you about Peat moss, but now I vaguely remember. You have a good memory.
