I voted Sanford and Son, but I was almost going to vote "Other" because I love the Brady Bunch, a way different show from Sanford so it's hard to compare! Also since I been into One day at a time lately which is a combination of a comedy/drama/soap opera though!

I voted for Bewitched , but it really is a Sixties show, not Seventies. Let me emphasize, I am only voting for the Dick York/Alice Pearce (original Gladys)/Aunt Clara years, not the awful last three years.

Yeah!! Laverne and Shirley, I loved that show!! !!! It's really hard to say what is a favorite!!! Lots of good shows!!! And Barney Miller, as I posted before , I don't mean to repeat myself, but when it first aired I didn't like it much ,now I do!!
So it is hard to really pinpoint a favorite show, cause there were so many good ones back than, and all different, so it's hard to decide on one favorite!!! |

I voted for The Mary Tyler Moore Show, but I'd say the most fault-free great sitcom of the 70s was The Odd Couple.

How could you not have Three's Company on the list of the choices?? Three's Company was the greatest sitcom EVER thanks to the physical comic genius of Jack Tripper. All the gorgeous ladies on the show didn't hurt!
Since it wasn't listed I voted for the Jeffersons which is the 2nd greatest sitcom ever thanks to no jive talkin' George Jefferson! |
