Jessie Mueller Joins "The Family"
by Denise Petski October 23, 2015 Jessie Mueller has booked a recurring role in ABC’s midseason drama series "The Family", written by Jenna Bans. It follows the return of a politician’s (Joan Allen) young son, who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier. Mueller will play Fran, a cherubic and sweet bakeshop employee who meets Hank (Andrew McCarthy). Mueller won Tony, Grammy, and Drama Desk Awards last year as the lead in Broadway’s Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
