It made me laugh just as much. People are different. We have to keep that in mind and not try and tell them what made them laugh and what didn't. The writing along with the actors was excellent.

I enjoyed Golden Palace, and have it on DVD, thanks to a company that recorded it off a TV and made it available for sale.

I have a feeling that devout Bea Arthur fans are the ones primarily saying that Golden Palace was lame. I can respect their opinion. But let's not forget, although Golden Palace was missing "Dorothy" it gave us Don Cheadle and Cheech Marin. A new and interesting twist on the Golden Girls concept. It's not the same, but enjoyable none the less.
