No real surprise there, the show's run was longer than most ABC Family sitcoms, which typically last a season or two- so that's not saying much about their quality

It didn't last long as Sabrina Teenage Witch, but this show did way better than Sabrina Teenage Witch.

The final season was awful, they should have ended this show with the wedding. Everything after that was terrible. Cousin Oliver Sydrome (Joe's bratty daughter Dani). There was no reason to create this character as she was written out after what 8 episodes. Storyline was a waste of time. Ryder was pretty much gone due to Nick Robinson's movie career booming, which sucks because he was my favorite character. Lennox and Zander are obnoxiously annoying. Married Mel & Joe = BORING!!! The storylines got stale and stupid. I enjoyed the first three seasons, but season 4 got really bad that it was a struggle to watch anymore.

Joe's long lost 12 year old secret daughter was the official jump the shark moment.
