There's no rule against bumping old threads. However, it's a good idea to not bump time sensitive threads, this one predicts what was coming to TVLand in 2010 which is long gone. Same thing would go for previous years network upfronts discussion. But the general threads like what your favorite shows are and which show is better are fine to bump. There's no rule against it.
