Peter Gallagher Joins "The Good Wife" as Recurring

The upcoming seventh season of "The Good Wife" has added Peter Gallagher as a new lawyer.

He will recur as Irving Carver, the witty, sophisticated attorney of conservative billionaire Reese Dipple (Oliver Platt), who’s been dispatched to Lockhart/Agos/Lee. He prefers civilized, intelligent debate over mindless bullying, but will use whatever it takes to assure that the firm is working to further his client’s agenda.
