I have to express my disquiet with the latest forensic reconstruction photo of "Delta Dawn", the murdered toddler girl from 1982. They've given her longer hair and increased her femininity in general - including making her lips look fuller and more glossy. The glossy look makes it look as though she's wearing lipstick. She was a murder victim, not a contestant in an America's Most Beautiful Baby pageant.

I agree. Plus it makes her look too "modern" for a kid who was that age in 1982. They didn't do stuff like that then. The pictures for that case are all weird, though. It says her face was still recognizable but those drawings are terrible. The original rendered picture looks like an actual photograph, and is (to me) completely different from the sketches.
That whole story is incredibly sad. I had never heard of this one before. |
