"CSI" Recruits "Faking It" Star for Final Sendoff

"CSI" has enlisted one of the leads on MTV's "Faking It" for a familiar role.

Katie Stevens — who stars as Karma on the MTV comedy — has joined the cast of the two-hour series finale, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.



Stevens will play Catherine Willows' (Marg Helgenberger) daughter, Lindsey Willows. The character is now in her early 20s and a CSI Level 1 who experiences her first day on the job.

She's an over-caffeinated younger, bubbly version of her mother and, minus a youthful mistake or two, is on her way to a promising career. She nails down a key piece of evidence in the case at the center of the series closer.



Stevens becomes the third actress to portray the character and follows Madison McReynolds (who appeared in nine episodes from 2000-05) and Kay Panabaker (seven episodes, 2006-15).

The two-hour series finale is set for Sept. 27 on CBS.
