Anyone know how many DVD cases this set will have?

My set just arrived. There are 6 standard size DVD cases. 1 per season. There are 4 discs in each season except season 6. It has 2 discs. The box is not as sturdy as other Shout Factory sets, but it is glossy. It seems as they cheaped out a little on this set. The box is thin cardboard instead of thicker like WKRP, Hill Street Blues, etc...

^^^Thanks for the update! I was expecting it to only be 3 DVD cases (1 for every 2 seasons). I kinda like the fact that each season has its own case.

The outer box sounds like they did it like "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis".

Does this come with a booklet with episode and show info?

I'll probably order this in a few months. Maybe the price will go down a few bucks.

No Booklet, but in each case it lists the episode names on each disc & special features.

I missed this when I looked at the inside of one of the cases. It also lists original air date beside the episode name on each disc.

Are the episodes spread out evenly on the discs? Are there 6 or 7 episodes on each disc?

If I remember when I looked at the cases there are 8 episodes per disc on the seasons 1-3 with only 2 episodes of the 4th disc of each season. Season 4-5 they split them up a bit different with some discs having 8 and some discs having 7. Season 6 is split up fairly equal across the 2 discs. I hope this helps. I don't have the set in front of me so I am going by what I remember.

I'm gonna order this tomorrow with my B-day money!! I just hope since it doesn't have the nice sturdy & thick cardboard box that it doesn't get smashed up in the mail.

The box is not as thick as other ShoutFactory sets, but it should be fine for shipping. I had some vitamins that I order every six months that Amazon packed with my set and it survived the trip via UPS.
