I guess it's still unknown whether Charlie McDermott will be back as Axl.

It's a cute show. I hope he comes back, he's funny.

Great news! This show has not lost its steam at all, so I'm glad it will be coming back.

If CBS picks up Super Clyde Axl is gone. If not he'll probably stay.

I'm glad The Middle is getting renewed, but if Axl leaves then I don't see how the show can go on without really jumping the shark.

Axl's role has been reduced since he went to college. The Middle can survive as long as the other 4 remain cast members. What they screwed up big time was Darrin's marriage proposal. Sue should have accepted and Darrin could have replaced Axl as a regular. I couldn't believe how much the Hecks were against it as if there was nothing good about his proposal. Darrin cared for Sue and already had a steady job. Although he should have been willing to wait for her to finish college.

I haven't noticed Axl's role being reduced, but maybe it has. I haven't seen all the episodes.

Cool I like the show. I can kind of relate, well I could when their kitchen sink was broke and they had to wash the dishes in the bath tub. My bathroom sink is broke and I have to wash my face in the bath tub and bush my teeth in the kitchen.

They could still make that happen, if they need to. BTW great idea...I thought she should have accepted the proposal.
