Long time Palm Springs resident, Vanda Barra, 90, passed away on April 9 after a long illness. Vanda worked in the entertainment field most of her life beginning as a model in New York City and then moving to California to pursue live theater and television. She is most recognized in her supporting role in the "Here's Lucy" show. Vanda is survived by her sister, Theda Mauro, niece, Adrienne Mazar , several grand nephews and a grand niece. Donations in her memory may be made to the Palm Springs Desert Aids Project. 1695 North Sunrise Way, Palm Springs, Ca. 92262.

Thanks. I know she was someone you knew personally and I'm sorry for your loss. She had a good long life, but it's sad to see one of the last HL regulars gone. I guess Lucie and Desi Jr. are really the last.
