A Message to All Music Association Game Players (Please Read) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

First, I'd like to thank all of you for playing. The reason for this post concerns an area of game play that is well within the rules but has caused confusion for some and one player has decided to no longer participate.

Here's an example of what I'm getting at...

The first player starts a new round with "Night Moves" by Bob Seger
The second replies with "Hollywood Nights" by Bob Seger
The third replies with "Hollywood Swingin" by Kool And the Gang
The fourth replies with "Hollywood Nights"

This is where the confusion lies for some but hopefully I can explain why it's allowed.

When the third player replied with "Hollywood Swingin", a new round was started building on the word Hollywood and because the word Night wasn't in the title, "Hollywood Nights" became eligible to use again.

The player who decided to no longer participate questioned a recent similar move I made plus the fact that the same song title was used more than once on the same page which has nothing to do with it. There's no limit to the number of times a title can appear on the same page as long as it's only once per-round or a different song

If the person who decided to no longer play reads this then I would welcome them back and hopefully they'll understand why the move is allowed. However, I can't make them return and I'm sorry that they don't agree with how the game is played but I'm not going to change things just to satisfy one player. If the move wasn't within the rules then I would do so.
