I do remember watching Sharkey but not much about it. Rickles was extremely well-known and I think everyone knew what kind of act to expect.

He had 2 shows in the 70's that failed, very surprising

Even on youtube it's only NBC promos of the show but no full episodes.

I would like to see this show! As I posted before, my Dad watched it so it was on in the house, but I never sat and watched it. So I've never really seen it, it is old but would be new to me! (however that expression goes!)

As you posted you think there aren't enough episodes to be picked up on syndication. Another poster mentioned Gidget. That only was on one season and Antenna played that every weekend for the longest time. So maybe one day they will start showing Sharkey. That would be cool!
