Was it ever explained why Charlie always was on roller blades?

I have wondered about that one too. I do not remember it ever being explained.

I don't think it was explained, either. However, Charlie was such a goof that it made sense for him to constantly be on rollerblades.

I thought that was hilarious in the ep where he was trying to help Richard and a few minutes later you see Richard on roller blades as well. I forget which ep it was but it was the beginning of Season 3. Oh, it was the one where Charlie was participating in the experimental drug thing and Richard went along with it because of the money. They were both freaking out over the drugs they had taken. Hilarious!

I am fairly sure it was because he worked as a delivery man and the skates were his way of making his deliveries much quicker than on foot or bike.
