WEll if u watch shows enuf times on TV & then watch "uncut" DVD sets, u can definitely see little pieces in the show that r missing from the TV versions! I have seen scenes from "Golden Girls", "Three's Company", "Roseanne", & "Soap", that were "cut" from the syndicated version. Usually it is a scene from 15-30 seconds, & usually a few "scenes" per episode!

I bought season 4 a couple weeks ago, and absolutely loved it. Love the fact that I got to see a bunch of stuff that I never got the chance to see before, because of editing. The special features were awesome. Roseanne's commentary for the Halloween and Thanksgiving episodes, were very interesting, and funny, and it was really cool seeing Michael and Lecy all grown up, talking about the show. I'd definitely encourage every Roseanne fan out there to check out the fourth season on DVD!! As great as it was though, I think I'll probably just rent the rest from Netflix, and wait for the whole series to be out before making anymore purchases. I'll save a little money that way.

I bought the entire series for 40 bucks from an online store, it's great. I do own all the individual seasons DVDs as well, although I kind of regret buying Season 6 due to the complete lack of special features..

I own Seasons 1-7, and I am anxiously awaiting Seasons 8 and 9. This is one of the few shows where I actually want to own the entire series. It doesn't bother me that seasons 6 and 7 don't have any features, they still have all of the episodes, and that's what matters most to me!

Hey can anybody tell me, if there is any bonus material about this show on DVD? I need information about how this one was produced and I heard that you can find videos about it. My research is unfortunately without any result... Thanks for helping !

Yes I have the complete series on DVD by Mill Creek. There are plenty of bonus features. On the season one DVDs, there is a blooper reel from the early seasons that is really funny. There are Roseanne video commentaries on the episodes "Trick Me Up, Trick Me Down (406)", "Thanksgiving 1991 (410)", "Ladies Choice (508)", "Lanford Daze (515)", "The Fifties Show (807)", "Disney World War II" (818) and "Springtime for David" (819). The last three episodes feature commentary by Michael Fishman (DJ) as well. The first few video commentaries are extremely interesting and fun to watch and there are some very interesting facts about the series. But starting with the season five episodes, the commentaries become kind of dull with Roseanne and Fishman really not adding not much information. There are 6 interviews with Roseanne scattered throughout the set. All of them are cool and reveal facts about the show. There are 2 John Goodman interviews. There is 1 Laurie Metcalf interview. There are 2 Lecy Goranson interviews. There are 2 Michael Fishman interviews. The interviews don't run any longer than 9 minutes at the most. While they are interesting, they don't go into too much depth and half of them are composed of clips from the series. If you are a casual viewer looking for information about the show, then these DVD bonus features may be good for you. But if you are a die-hard Roseanne fan who is extremely into bonus material, then the interviews will be fun to watch, but very informative or interesting.
