Axel Braun Starts Production on "24" Parody

Four-time AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun has begun shooting an adult parody for Wicked Pictures of hit Fox show "24", which he plans to have on the street just in time to coincide with the show's hotly anticipated May return for a new 12-episode run.

“I’m a huge Jack Bauer fan, and I’m incredibly excited about this project,” Braun said. “I’ve been wanting to do this for years, and now with Fox bringing 24 back in May, the timing is perfect.”





The Emmy Award-winning TV show starring Kiefer Sutherland ran for eight successful seasons from 2001 to 2010, breaking new ground with its real-time ticking clock format and kinetic camerawork. Its new episodes kick off May 5.

“It’s a great show with a large and loyal fan base,” Wicked Pictures owner Steve Orenstein offered. “Axel is a 24 fanatic, so he’s incredibly invested in this project and has put together a terrific cast, which suggests this parody has all the ingredients to become a very successful one.”





While casting for an Axel Braun porn parody is typically a lenghty process, the director says he never had any doubts about who would fill the shoes of Sutherland's iconic CTU agent:

“Kurt Lockwood was honestly my first and only choice for the part,” said Braun, who gave Lockwood his first big break in 2002 when he cast him as the lead in his AVN Award-winning 35mm feature Compulsion. “Kurt is a terrific actor with a tremendous work ethic, a top-tier performer, and he also happens to be a dead-ringer for Kiefer, so he really was a perfect fit.”





Lockwood returned his director's praise:

"I was a big fan of the series and I feel very fortunate not only to be given the opportunity to tackle such a challenging acting role, but especially to work again with the maestro himself, Axel Braun, more than a decade after he directed me in the role that garnered my first ever AVN Award. Playing Jack Bauer is a dream come true for me, and I am absolutely stoked!”





The female cast includes Wicked contract girl Kaylani Lei as Michelle Dessler, Alektra Blue as Nina Myers, Claire Robbins as Chloe O’Brian, Penny Pax as female assassin Mandy, Brie Simone as Sherry Palmer and Axel Braun Productions contract star Riley Steele as Kim Bauer, the role originated by Elisha Cuthbert.

"I love the show, and Elisha is such a hottie!" Steele gushed. "This movie will have the same look and feel of the original TV show, and it's super funny without being stupid or disrespectful. Axel is always very adamant about making sure the audience can laugh with the characters and not at them, and I appreciate that, just as I appreciate being a part of such an awesome cast!"





24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody has a six-day shooting schedule that includes the same number of sex scenes, and is slated to wrap at the end of the month.

Wicked Streets Two-Disc DVD of 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody

Wicked Pictures has announced the release of 24 XXX: An Axel Braun Parody. Written and directed by four-time consecutive AVN Director of the Year Axel Braun, this big-budget spoof of the Jack Bauer saga arrives at retail locations today in a deluxe, two-disc DVD set that includes both x-rated and non-sex versions of the movie.
