I didn't watch the show but it's pretty sad that they didn't give it another season to at least give the fans closure. I swear these heartless network people have no respect for viewers, for people to invest watching a lot of years into a show and for it to not have a proper send off is pretty sad.

While I do wish they had a chance to do a final episode to wrap things up, you gotta admit that Spin City lost a lot of it's popularity when Michael J. Fox left the show. I give them credit for trying, but they never recovered after he left.
I do wish they had a chance to wrap things up. ANy show tht has been around for more than four or five seasons deserves a proper send-off. |

I wish they had gotten the chance to do a series finale. They could've brought back Mike. James, Nikki, Stacey, and Janell could also have showed up and explained where they were during the last 2 seasons. That would have been a great way to end the series.

As for ABC I think it is a good call on their part seeing that all there shows have been failing in the ratings. It gives new shows that they have coming in the fall a better chance.

The people who liked the show and thought it was funny. I admit the last half of the show's run, with Heather Lockelear, wasn't as good as the first 3 years. But it was still funny.

I personally lost interest in the show after Micheal J. Fox left the series. But what happened in the last episode? I'd be interested to know...

basically the Season Finale of Spin was just Charlie and Caitlin together as a couple leaving the building holding hands and kissing and being all cute previous to that they do it in the Mayors office and not know that the Mayor has survelliance camera's so OF COURSE Caitlin freaks out later on she CONFESSES to the mayor and everyone else that they had some well 'FUN" in the office because she thought they were about to see them on tape it was actually a CUTE ep theres more but I've been gone and to busy to type it all but i'm sure you would have liked it

I wonder how much 9/11 played a factor in the decision to cancel Spin City? What I mean is that the attacks happened roughly around the same time as the start of what would be Spin City's last season. I guess the point that I'm trying to make is that it wouldn't at the time, seemed rather inappropriate or irresponsible to continue to make a "light-hearted" political-oriented sitcom about New York City.
