The Doyle Wheeler house (the execution / "make it look like a suicide") attempt

Here's where I found his address - 13226 W Shore Road (I searched for "Suncrest, WA", but Google seemed to return it as "Nine Mile Falls, WA").



this is an actual link to the newspaper article from 4/1988 - it takes a little bit of scrolling (the story separates between Page 1 and Page 8 of that day's paper), but it's a very interesting read.

used this Zillow map to confirm that I was focusing on the right location, and the right house

Even on his blogger page (inactive since 2009?) he lists his current location as Nine Miles Falls.

So he stayed in the same area, stayed in the same house, or just lied about his current location on his blogger site, dunno. I usually lie about my name and location when I'm online but I guess some folks don't.

This is such a great thread.

Perhaps this is a bit strange, but I'd love to know the various locations that RS was filmed for his intros & outros over the years.

They always seemed to be such creepy locations- maybe because most were shot at night, maybe because of RS's voice and general demeanor but creepy nonetheless.

The only one mentioned on this thread was the Queen Elizabeth deck. I believe another location used several times was at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. (I can't do any photo comparison to be sure as I haven't been able to acquire any original UM clips since the un-named site blackout.)

A few others that stick in my head from the early days were a white stone staircase outdoors and a large mausoleum with a circular blue/purple stain glass window.

Anyone else intrigued in these places? I know they are not actual mystery locations, but UM derived so much of its impact from the music, shooting style, and RS's delivery that I feel like these places are an important part too, if only a niche.

I should have noticed this much earlier since they walk by the address number in the segment. It's 2495 Rio Drive in Bullhead City, AZ.







The street dead ends into the desert where Scott and his friends always played. The shack where Scott and his friend were killed is around 50 yards in front of the house.



There's a house built across the street that wasn't there when Scott was killed in 1974 and it blocks the view of the shack from the house now. I was able to pinpoint the spot because of the little silo that's on top a small hill behind the shack. You can see the silo in the distance here...

I'm currently in Las Vegas on vacation and I have a decent view of a condo building that I'm pretty sure was where Robert Weeks lived.

Can someone try to get a photo of Eric Tamiyasu's home in Hood River, Or? I believe the correct address is :

I have tried looking it up and using the websites for it but I cant seem to ever locate the home.

I think he have tried before. He live on an orchard down a private road.

The Round Table Pizza on Watt Ave. less than a mile from the Qwikstop where the Thrill Killer killed a week later. In bad taste, I ate there.

This row home building in Stratford, New Jersey is where the reunion between brothers Albert and Jim Young and their long lost half sister Kathleen took place, and just a short distance from where I live. The second door from the left is the unit where the reunion took place.

Also, here is an overhead view of the apartment complex in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where Tracy Wofford-Bunn was found. Unfortunately, no street view imagery is available, and the development was demolished around 2007.

Not a great shot (they need to take some newer pictures of the area), but here is a 2007 shot of Cokeville Elementary School in Cokeville, Wyoming where the David Young tragedy-turned-miracle took place in 1986.
