Strange Visitor to Hazzard (The Alien One!) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I just watched the episode "Strange Visitor to Hazzard" and it was the most hilarious (and pathetic) thing I've ever seen!! Bo, Luke and Daisy becoming friends with an alien? I know it was during the last season but were the writers really that desperate for storylines? I was laughing so loud during the scene were Luke was trying to coax the alien down from a tree at the Duke farm..."we alllllll want to be friends with youuuuuu, so come on dowwnnnnn" The way Tom Wopat delivered those lines was unbelievable. How about when that alien was driving Enos' police car with his feet? Oh the humanity...

What is everyone else's thoughts on this strange episode?

i did not like it it was stupid,could of been something else that so un realistic u know

That was so stupid and it was when the show was at its' worse.

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE episode! I watched it entirely only once, hoping it would redeem itself by having it be only a crazy dream caused by some grits gone bad or spiked moonshine. I will never watch it again.

Another I refuse to endure again is when Rosco is replaced with a robot.

I don't think I've ever seen that one. Now I want to! I'll have to look for it online or something just to see if it's really as ridiculous as it sounds.
