Were Larry & Erik jealous of Brodie? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Back in the days of CHiPs there was a lot of jealousy going round. Most bridges have been mended, but back then there was a lot of tension. I have wondered for a while now if Erik & Larry were jealous of Brodie Greer who played Bear. Brodie was taller than they were & a real sex symbol. I heard from a friend that Erik used to do something with his shoes so he'd look taller than Larry & then Larry would do the same to get back at him. Imagine what they thought of 6 foot 4 inches Brodie. Also Brodie got almost as much fan mail as Erik. I have noticed that the show didn't use Brodie as much as it should have & that he doesn't get as many closeups as other cast members. That was a real shame.

Oh that's interesting, yeah I would understand Erik and Larry being intimidated by another good looking dude on the show, funny story about the shoe lifts.

Officer Baricza ( Brodie Greer) was a hotty too!!

I have been noticing him! But my heart still belongs to Ponch (Erik)!

Do men really feel jealousy like that? I mean if all three of these men got their share of women, would they really be jealous over looks and height and stuff?

Seems men are more jealous of another man making more money, or having a better car but not so much over looks! That is more of a girls thing, jealous over each others looks!
