All of them are my favorites really but if I was to get really down to it . . . it would be a tie between I Love Lucy and The Lucy Show.

WOW, i guess that's why we're HERE! LOL! In my case, i know every line of every one of the 180 I Love Lucy shows by heart and welcome the Lucy show's 156 great episodes, and also the 144 Here's Lucy shows, it's a nice change. But i think The Lucy show was better, The Lucy Desi comedy hour was great also, but suffered because of the audience not being there. As for Life with Lucy, it proves that the lady was the reason we tuned in, not the scripts, she could rise above any material. But she shouldn't have had to, especially at that age.

I'd have to say that I Love Lucy is my favorite, just because I've seen it more than the other shows, but they're all great!

I think the Lucy show is definitely my favorite of all of Lucille Ball sitcoms – especially the first season, when she and Vivian basically got equal screen time.

I love the fact that the two of them lived together as friends, and had such an easy going life and relationship. I also loved the neighbor, Harry. I hated it when he wasn't there. And I hate that her first banker was replaced by Mr. Mooney. I don't hate Mr. Mooney, I just prefer the other banker.

After the Lucy show, I would say I Love Lucy is my second favorite, followed by the Lucy Desi comedy hour and here's Lucy.

While I 'm fond of all of Lucy's shows, I Love Lucy has a special place in my heart: it was first, groundbreaking, and classic. Even after 60+ years, I.L.L. eps still make me roar with laughter--even when I've already seen them several times over!

I completely agree, very well stated. I chose Here's Lucy since it's the one show I remember watching as a kid. During the reruns as I got older, I seen them when I was sick in bed and laughed like crazy, she cheered me up.

I'm surprised The Lucy Show is beating I Love Lucy!

Well, this is THE LUCY SHOW board. But to be honest, it surprises me too, because even on Facebook, I LOVE LUCY is always being posted on the page for THE LUCY SHOW, and that really irritates some fans – because even the administrators sometimes felt to realize that the fans know that those two shows are the same.

This was an easy choice for me, I voted for The Lucy Show. I've always felt that I Love Lucy is overrated. Lucy Desi Comedy Hour and Here's Lucy are fair to mediocre. Life With Lucy should never have been made in my opinion.

When I saw the poll results, I thought it was an April Fool's joke. I Love Lucy is probably the greatest sitcom of all time. Lucille Ball was always a great comedienne, but she shined best when she had great foils, and the cast of ILL was perfect for her. Although the first few seasons of The Lucy Show were pretty good, when Vivian left , there was no one to rein in any mugging/over-acting instincts on her part. And don't get me started on that atrocious "Here's Lucy"!

Same here. When I was young (late 70's and early 80's) our local independent station showed Here's Lucy weekdays at 5:30pm and it was the Lucy I grew up with and got to know so it'll always be my favorite.

Couldn't agree more. Even with ILL leading by a narrow margin in the smallest of sample sizes just the fact it's even close is mind boggling. Even if TLS was every bit as good as ILL (which it clearly is not), there is no way it could ever compete with the trailblazing legacy of the first show. Without ILL, there simply would be no Lucy Show - period. I Love Lucy is practically the Book of Genesis for television comedy. It's like comparing THE BIBLE to any book written after it.
