Fox Cancels "Surviving Jack"
Fox Cancels "Dads", "Surviving Jack" & "Enlisted"
by NELLIE ANDREEVA May 7, 2014 Fox cleaned the comedy deck today, pulling the plug on freshman series "Dads", "Enlisted" and "Surviving Jack". This leaves "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" as the only freshman Fox comedy to make it to second season. "Surviving Jack" had received pretty decent reviews and showed off Chris Meloni's (Law & Order: SVU, Oz, True Blood) comedy skills, but was mired with dismal ratings. It wasn't given a fair shake when it aired outside of Fox’s Tuesday comedy block. This show really deserved a longer run, what the heck do they expect when you put it in a dead spot on Friday nights. JERKS!!
