"Mad Men's" Ben Feldman Returns to "Drop Dead Diva"

Ben Feldman, who recently received an Emmy nomination for his role as Michael Ginsberg on "Mad Men", is going back to his old stomping grounds.

Feldman will return to Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva" as guardian angel Fred in the show's Season 4 finale next month, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Fred was last seen leaving Earth at the start of the season earlier this summer, and his re-appearance on the show won't be a terrestrial one.

"Viewers get a look into what Fred's been up to since he left Earth," according to EW. "Now we find him back in Heaven in his old position of processing the new arrivals and naive Fred finds himself in a predicament similar to the one that brought him to Earth in the first place."

The season finale airs Sunday, Sept. 9 at 9/8c.

Fred is back on "Drop Dead Diva" — and this time, the real Jane is with him!

Ben Feldman, who recurred on "Mad Men" earlier this season, will reprise his role as guardian angel Fred is the Season 4 finale of the Lifetime hit, and TVGuide.com has the exclusive first look at his return.

As we previously reported, the real Jane Bingum will make a return appearance in the finale — and judging by this picture, he'll have his hands full.

(Note: This appears to be the predicament with which creator Josh Berman hinted Fred would have to contend.)

The season finale of "Drop Dead Diva" airs Sunday at 9/8c on Lifetime.
