Was Henry going to cheat on Muriel? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ok so I'm watching this past Friday the episode "A Fine Romance" in which an old college friend of Henry and Muriel drops by and later in a scene she gives an innocent friendly kiss to Henry and then she tells him her hotel room number so they can meet up later.

So my question is was Henry going to do a little hanky panky with this woman? I mean we see him hanging out in the lobby, was he going just to tell this woman his heart belongs to Muriel or was he going to cheat on her?

It ends rather abruptly and these are edited for syndication so I don't know whether there's an additional scene of Henry explaining things to Muriel.

I recently started watching the show since it came back to Antenna TV and from what I have seen so far there is no way Henry would do anything to hurt his wife. He seems like a loving and devoted husband and father. The kiss seemed to puzzle him but I doubt he would have gone as far as cheating on his wife. Besides he would not be able to take 3 angry ladies and a Monroe being angry at him.

It is sad that the DVDs are out of print because I would love to buy them to see the extra footage from that episode. That is if the DVDs were not edited as well.
