Yes, please post the exact link to the post you read which says the entire series will be released later this year.
I read that thread, and the person posting the information only said (partially in his initial post, with more in a separate post several pages later) that there is an exclusive deal in place and the series is being digitized. He said the remastering could be for a cable deal or a deal for both cable and DVD release, but he had no idea at this time. He said that about 80 episodes have been worked on so far with many more to go, but he doesn't know who has the rights. Also, I saw no specific timeframe (i.e., this year) mentioned. |

The guy who posted this information at HTF knows what he is talking about. He has been working in the industry for many years.

I wish they would hurry up and release them, I still need about 400 eps. I liked that series because they were all true stories. One of my favorite episodes was called " The Friend " with John Payne. He played a marshal in a cow town who befriends an orphan stable boy and when the boy see's the marshal gunned down in a saloon he pulls out this old gun and starts blasting the bad guys. The episode differs somewhat from the actual story but it was still a good one.

The last time I saw this show on TV was in the early 70s. Back then I had no Idea that this show's episodes were based on true stories. Little tidbits of history. I have about 1/4 of this show with the DVDs I bought from ioffer.
Quality ranges from OK to Terrible, so I will be more than happy to get the official release (and introduce the 'boots to "My Little Friend", Mr. B.F.Hammerr).
