You know which one I'm talking about -the same song played at the Shake Shop...I dunno why but everytime I hear it I start snapping my fingers, and have the urge to get up and dance 60's style, hoping I don't break, twist, or throw something out....
Very "boss" tune ....

There are at least two or three different tunes played at The Shake Shop in different episodes, although the most commonly heard one is the one used on SHOUT Factory's Season Two DVD menus, the peppy little tune with the guitar and the piano. Bertram Bristol's ("The Mop") song "Open Up Your Heart" can also be heard sometimes, with or without his singing. In season Three, all of the wonderful background tunes from the first two seasons all go right out the window, along with adding a more contemporary sounding version of the theme song.

Patty goes on and on of all these popular 60's artists yet she seems to own only 1 record that plays that instrumental tune something like da da da da da dadadadada....

Aside from the album "Generic Teen Show Background Music", Patty also had some Paul Anka records, but the housekeeper stepped on them. She has played a record by Bertram Bristol (aka "The Mop") in at least one episode, and she also played a Frankie Avalon record at the end of the show where she met him. She also has a recoding by Chad and Jeremy (aka Nigel and Patrick) that has a good recording of a song on one side and the messed-up recording with Patty accompanying the boys with some pretty bad "drumming".
