Exclusive: Can Hal Linden Help the "Broke Girls"?
by Matt Webb Mitovich 3/20/14 TV’s erstwhile Barney Miller has copped a fun gig, as the guy who can make or break the "2 Broke Girls". TVLine has learned exclusively that TV vet Hal Linden will guest-star on the newly renewed sitcom as Lester, the man whose name is on the lease for Max’s rent-controlled Brooklyn abode. Max and Caroline will need to track down and appeal for the help of Lester in order to keep hold of the apartment they share.
