"Hawaii Five-0" Stages "Lost" Reunion with Jorge Garcia Guest Spot -- EXCLUSIVE

"Hawaii Five-0" sure loves its "Lost" alums!

The latest to join Daniel Dae Kim on the CBS drama? Jorge Garcia, who EW can exclusively report is set to appear in an episode early next season. He will play a brilliant conspiracy theorist and reportedly share scenes with former "Lost" co-star Kim.

"Hawaii Five-0", which will move to Fridays in the fall, has a history of staging "Lost" reunions: Terry O’Quinn, Tania Raymonde and Reiko Aylesworth have all previously had guest roles.

The upcoming fourth season of the series does not yet have a fall premiere date.

"Lost" star Jorge Garcia will first appear in Episode 3 of the new season in the potentially recurring role of Jerry, a conspiracy theorist whom the team consults.

Exec. Producer Peter Lenkov says of the role, "He's going to be sort of the fifth member of Five-0. Jerry still lives in his mom's basement. He's the boy who cried wolf whom nobody ever believed, but he finally gets validated."

Lenkov also tells "Lost" fans to listen for an in-joke regarding island life.

CBS announced Thursday that "Hawaii Five-0" will return for a fifth season, and Jorge Garcia will be back as well.

Garcia, who's guest-starred on two episodes of the series, has been upped to a series regular for Season 6, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The "Lost" alum plays Jerry Ortega, a conspiracy theorist and high school classmate of Chin Ho Kelly, played by Garcia's former "Lost" co-star Daniel Dae Kim.

"Jorge very quickly made Jerry an unlikely and valuable part of the Five-0 Ohana," showrunner Peter Lenkov tells THR. "We have many opportunities planned to put Jerry's unusual and infectious desire to put the bad guys to good use."
