I don't like anyone in the Bonnie Wilder segment. Too conceited, too yuppie-ish.

That being said, I really hope Bonnie didn't steal her identity, as was theorized. |

IMO, Lisa in the Bonnie Wilder segment was doing herself no favors, imo. She came off so badly that I found myself disliking her more than the actual criminal!

I just saw the John Roubas segment for the first time recently, and I must say that I did not like "Richard," the ex Roubas associate who was interviewed in silhouette.
At one point, the possibility of whether or not Roubas faked his death is being discussed, and at one point the law enforcement officer being interviewed says "I'm confident that Roubas could have faked his death." Immediately following that statement, we cut to Richard, who says "it's not that he COULD HAVE pulled it off, he DID pull it off." Frankly, I don't care if he does know what he's talking about, it is still extremely condescending (as well as one of my major pet peeves in real life) for someone to take your words and throw them back at you like that. |

Ida Prewitt wins this hands down. Not only was it obvious she killed 3 innocent people including a 6 year old but you could just tell she had pure hatred just seething out of her pores. Plus her double negative confession lol "we did not have nothing to do with their disappearance ".

I'm certainly not saying he was a horrible guy (I'm sure he wasn't), but definitely a bit of a jerk and probably one of those guys who aren't very attentive to their wives/girlfriends. While having drinks with friends isn't that bad in itself, it's more how inconsiderate he was being about it. |

Diane Strom - While I understand being angry at whomever hurt Jenny (not to mention that scumbag Curtis Croft), and saddened about what happened to her, I couldn't stand her snippy, negative attitude. This is way more evident on the Telecenter special 3 years later, in which she cuts down the show's ability to catch the suspects while talking to Stack; and even rudely shushes and cuts off Jenny. Can we say anger management?
Vernon Kelly - One of the strangest interviews. What I mean is that, he talked more like a know it all, wannabe police investigator than a grieving father. I'm not saying he had to be crying all over the place, but it's ironic that on one hand he was so cold to Christi (i.e. not even letting her attend Todd's funeral) and unwaveringly certain she took some part in his murder, yet didn't display any emotion or even a connection to Todd himself. He just came off like one of those obnoxious people who has to be right, rather than trying to get justice for Todd. The skeptic in the spontaneous human combustion segment - this guy just seemed extremely full of himself and unlikable. Just the kind of people who never can admit to being wrong. Ida Prewitt - dictionary definition of a grumpy old hag. Even if she hadn't been an accomplice to murders (of course, that's far more severe), she came across as extremely rude and dislikable. |

Diane Strom, mother of Jenny Pratt. Something about her just didn't sit right with me...

Robert Pasciuto, Bonnie Haim's father. It's bad enough he is completely ignorant of the fact his daughter was murdered, but it's even worse when he goes on national television and smiles and smirks like a complete dumbass about it. Man, when he picks up the clue phone, he's going to get an earful. I would have loved to see that full interview.
To put this into perspective, when even the suspect's own family as well as a 3 year old know better, you know that person has to be pretty dumb. |

Most fathers are not going to openly support someone accused of abusing their daughter, no matter what the circumstances. I don't know, I just got a weird vibe from the guy, like he was one of those backwards-thinking males who thinks that everything is the woman's fault. |

In some of the unsolved murder cases/unexplained deaths usually the law enforcement seemed pretty harsh on air towards the families. In some cases they were ok and not rude and families were kind of rude to law enforcement sometimes but I understand why when they've lost someone they love.
One case is the ellender murders. I thought the detective was wrong for saying "at first I felt sorry for him". Talking about the father who was trying to solve the murder on his own. |
