I've just gotten into watching the reruns and boxed set of TPDS and loving it all. As such I've noted a few things and had some questions. If these have been asked and noted in other threads I apologize.

I find that a good number of the story lines and gags are repeats from Bill Asher's other show, I Love Lucy and Bewitched. For instance, this week's 3rd season episode in which Ross and Patty are handcuffed together. From an old I Love Lucy. Of course, they are changed around a bit and handled very well by the cast of TPDS.

I know there are others, but can't think of them right now. Anyone else notice this?

You're right, Asher directed all three shows (I Love Lucy, Bewitched and TPDS) so there are some similarities.
