imo.

The show aired at a time when a quality was required and not vulgarity, sex, etc.

I would recommend for anyone that gets tried of today's sitcoms to watch the DVDs from Amos and Andy to get a taste of what real quality comedy was all about.

I agree, some of the episodes are hilarious. Two of my favorites are "Traffic Violations" and "Kingfish's Last Friend." Very funny episodes.
