Can anyone tell me what type of gas was pumped at Wally's service station?
How about what town did Barney leave to take a new job in? |

On the episode where wallys service station gets robbed, andy pulls up and gomer asks him if he wants "regular or high test" so your answer is regular or high test. i can answer your other question tommorow.

I was looking for the specific brand of gas that was sold. E-mail if you would like to know. Also found the town that Barney left to work at. I was torn between Mt. Pilot and Raleigh. I confirmed the proper answer. Again, e-mail if you want to know. bcd |

I believe the type of gasoline sold at
Wally's was ACME. I saw an episode where Andy drove up to the pumps and the name on the pumps was ACME. |

Back then you could still buy a magazine on newsstands for around 15 cents. Everything has gone up, though some categories moreso than others.
In the color ep where Goober is considering adding a third pump (business pressures), if I recall correctly one of the 2 grades he offered was Super (along with Regular). |

I'm looking at a highly detailed site on Wally's Filling Station and there's photos of the Acme gas punps, showing the Super and Regular pumps: http://www.jimnolt.com/wally2.htm |
