Default Did Shelley Fabares retire?

She hasn't been seen since on the big or small screen since the late 90's.

I'm sure there's a big juicy role out there for her be it TV, Film, or Stage.

Lightbulb Don't send her any CARE packages!

Shelley Fabares has been one of the busiest TV actresses I have ever seen. Besides "The Donna Reed Show," she appeared in "The Little People/The Brian Keith Show" (the one set in Hawaii) and played alongside Craig T. Nelson in "Coach" for many years, to mention a few.

I'm sure she's enjoying life whatever she chose to do!

Favorite line from Shelley Fabares' days in "The Donna Reed Show":

MARY (staring grimly into bathroom mirror): "I have as much sex appeal as a wet mop!" (They even used it in one season's promos.)

I always found her to be the most famous of the 3 kids on The Donna Reed Show imo. Besides the ones you mentioned I remember her in the TV-movie Brian's Song too and of course being the only actress to appear in 3 Elvis movies.

Too lazy to look, but she is old per now, probably pushing 70 or so. Probably does not want to work anymore. She made her money.

She's shouldn't be put out to pasture. I'm sure there are grandma roles she can play on TV or movies unless she thinks she's too youthful or "circling 29" to do those roles.....Suzanne Somers and Goldie Hawn come to mind.

I think the near-death experience she had a few years back has probably changed her perspective on life and she probably decided she doesn't want to work any more if she doesn't need to.

Pity. She's very talented. Just saw her guest appearance on Robert Urich's 70's detective series VEGAS.
