Just what cable needs, more Law and Order re-runs.Isn't Law and Order now being shown on,what... 78 channels?. I think the same company that owns WGN also owns Antenna TV.Since Antenna TV is 100 times better and probably a lot more popular, WGN should take a hint and also go the classic TV route.

Also for anyone that Still needs further proof that most cable channels have become nothing more than outlets to show zillions of commercials. Multiple channels running loops(hours and hours in a row) of shows like Law and Order is just another example.

I love Law and Order. But, TNT shows it all the time. I cannot believe they removed Matlock. I don't even think Hallmark Movie Channel even shows it in the morning anymore. And, I think I accidentally deleted all my episodes I had saved up off my DVR.

Seems like every channel wants to play the same shows anymore. It sucks.

Thank God for some of the newer channels like Encore Classic. (Murphy Brown and Night Court...heck yeah!)

Enough of Law and Order and its spinoffs. There are enough cable channels that air them, WGN doesn't need another block of programming dedicated to it.
I can't stand Walker but like Matlock and In the Heat of the Night they aren't aired on other channels that I know of.

I'm definitely enjoying Encore Classic. They don't ruin their programs by squashing their end credits, and it's nice to see programs that I haven't seen in awhile.

Matlock airs weekdays at 11AM, 10PM, and 11PM on INSP.

Without Matlock and Heat/Night to start our morning TV viewing, we no longer watch WGN at all.

HATE Walker, Texas Ranger!!!! The last thing we two old folks need is a show featuring lots of HITTING and KICKING. And is there a bigger EGO than Chuck Norris? No, thanks!

No Matlock. No WGN.

We even kept WGN on for news, etc. even though we're not remotely close to Chicago.

So now we're finding other programming offered from other stations/channels to watch in the mornings. Don't need more L&O shows though!!!

If we ever find another place to start our mornings off with Matlock, that will be our new TV channel for the day!

But it's no longer WGN. We were brought there by their morning lineup and seemed to stay for the rest. Now there is no Matlock and the rest of the programming stinks. So no WGN.

Maybe Frasier these mornings on Life....

In the Heat of the Night is the only show I watch on WGN.

I used to watch Matlock but I now own all 9 seasons on DVD so I don't watch it on regular TV anymore.
