Many, many years ago after yet another actor or actress whose work entertained me for many many years had died suddenly and unexpectedly, I once and for all decided that I would concentrate and immerse myself ONLY in the actors work and totally avoid his/her personal life. I will always remember the person for the joy and laughs they bought me. I prefer to turn my attention to where the spotlight was supposed to be: their art, their craft, the show. What happens after the cameras stop rolling is never as happy and nice as when they are reading from and acting out a script.

Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde) tweeted...

"Brilliant on 70s.... See u next time LRK,kisses. RT @sdavis53: #RIPLisaRobinKelly aka Laurie Foreman."

Kurtwood Smith (Red Forman) said...

"I am so sorry to hear about Lisa's passing away. I know the last 10 years have been such a difficult struggle for her but I will always remember the lovely, funny and very talented young lady I worked with."

Here's the link to the article but those are the only two cast members mentioned.

That is the best advice I've ever read. Lets' concentrate on the good of that person and not the bad.

"That '70s Show" Alum Lisa Robin Kelly Died from Multiple Drug Intoxication
Jan 3, 2014
by Kate Stanhope

The cause of death for "That '70s Show" alum Lisa Robin Kelly has finally been revealed.

Kelly, who played Eric's older sister on the comedy, died from multiple drug intoxication when she passed away in her sleep six months ago, TMZ.com reports.

The L.A. County Coroner has ruled the death to be an accidental overdose. The specific drugs that were in Kelly's system at the time of her death were not disclosed, but the actress had a history with illegal substances.

She was arrested at least four times during the past three years for DUI, spousal abuse and assault.

At the time of her death, Kelly's agent Craig Wyckoff said that she had voluntarily checked herself into a treatment center days earlier. Kelly died on Aug. 15 at an alcohol rehab facility in L.A. County at the age of 43.

The Coroner's full report will be released within two weeks.

The information above serves absolutely no purpose other than a sick, twisted attempt to stain the cherished memory of a beautiful, wonderful actress who's work and talent bought endless joy to millions world-wide. Once again I state that regardless of what is printed about a celebrities' private life, I will focus on and celebrate their work as an actor or actress.

It is really, really unfortunate that Ms. Lisa Robin Kelly had to be one of those actors who had to wreck their own lives by committing substance abuse and get themselves arrested multiple times (mainly for DUI/DWI). Her passing away from drug intoxication (as I suspected)... that is no doubt a waste of a beautiful-looking person, and a true beauty did not deserve to die from such a preventable cause. Died of drug intoxication while in a rehab facility.... I feared that this would happen, even after all the trouble she went through recently.

I don't see you eye to eye on a lot of things, but you are so totally right on this subject. I cannot understand why so many other people are afraid of doing that. Do they really think it will send the message that it's okay to support that kind of lifestyle?

No 2 people see eye to eye about everything, but I am glad that you agree with me on this very important and sensitive issue.

Estranged Husband of "That '70s Show" Actress Sues Rehab Where She Overdosed
6/10/14
by Gary Baum

Widower Robert Gilliam, who was estranged from "That '70s Show" actress Lisa Robin Kelly when she accidentally overdosed on multiple drugs at a California rehab facility in 2013, filed a wrongful death suit on June 9 in Los Angeles Superior Court against Pax House and its owners, James and Marcia Burnett.

He alleges negligence, claiming that staff members at the yellow Craftsman property in Altadena were improperly trained to care for patients such as his wife (who played Topher Grace's older sister on the hit Fox sitcom from 1998 to 2003), and requests unspecified damages.

Forty-three-year-old Kelly’s new boyfriend told TMZ shortly after her death that Gilliam himself triggered her fatal relapse, alleging that her troubles were exacerbated by his physical and emotional abuse.

It was a charge Gilliam sharply denied, explaining that, in fact, "in the last two weeks, she called me 22 times to get away from the boyfriend," and that Gilliam was making arrangements for her to check into another treatment center closer to the suburban home outside Charlotte, N.C., that they once shared.

(In 2012, the then-couple was simultaneously arrested for mutual misdemeanor assault at that North Carolina address.)

Gilliam is now asking for damages sustained "resulting from the loss of love, affection, society, comfort, support... expectations of future support and counseling, companionship, solace and mental support, as well as other benefits and assistance" of Kelly.
