Default CTS November 2013 --- Finally some great news for classic TV fans!

In reviewing the fall schedule for CTS earlier this summer, I noted strongly that it was one of the worst lineups they've ever had in their short history. Well, it seems that now, slowly but surely, they are finally starting to see the light. (Being a religious-themed channel will do that to you sometimes, but, I'm afraid, not often enough.) Here are the changes that will come into effect at the beginning of the month, starting Monday, November 4.

What's out: Marie (cancelled by Hallmark, now seen at 4 pm only on CTS Alberta, replaced in Ontario by The Waltons) and Larry King Now (formerly shown at 3:30 and 9 pm, now moved to 11 pm)

What's in:

The Beverly Hillbillies --- 3:30 pm

The Partridge Family --- 6 pm

Now if only they could do something about Family Feud. Maybe that won't happen until Dec. Who knows? But for now, I am so happy!!!

Thank you Sal! It's nice that someone gives us updates on the Canadian networks that air classic tv. CTS, Dejaview and Comedy Gold are all Canadian networks airing American classic television.

CTS fall schedule was disappointing and puzzling. I consider CTS a "family channel" or "religious channel" so I did not understand the addition of "Marie" or "Larry King Now." It looks like they are easing back into airing family friendly shows. I hope there are more positive additions to come.

Thanks for the update!

CTS has been around for 15 years now- they used to air "The Muppet Show" some years ago.
It's great to see a Christian channel that airs a mixture of both Christian-themed programming and other secular shows that resonate well with Biblical values.
(For the most part- I have seen some shows on channels and even videos for sale at Christian book stores that I have sometimes questioned as to whether they really belong there....) But generally, both are good about seeking to ensure that everything they do is glorifying to Jesus Christ.

I hope we get CTS America soon that way we can have more classic TV networks because TV Land/Nick at Nite went downhill over the past 5 years.
