Was Doris, as Theresa Falco as much of a meddling mother of two daughters on Angie, as she was of two sons on Everybody Loves Raymond, as Marie?

NOBODY could be as much of a meddling mother as Marie LOL! (and Doris is tdf in both sitcoms but esp. Everybody Loves Raymond - love her - & so glad she hit the TV jackpot in her 70s - you go girl! )

Angie is where I became a fan of Doris Roberts. I liked her from the first moment, she was so funny. She also hit gold with those Glade commercials as well. She was also on Soap, she played Father Tim's mother that was one of the best story arcs she was in.

Noooooooo! Theresa was NOT like Marie. Theresa was a loving Italian mother. THen again, she had daughters. Marie has sons and, while she may be a loving Italian mother in her own way, most Italian moms think NO woman is good enough for their son!
