How can they wonder why S2 didn't sell, when it's not available anywhere but their website!!! Duh!
Shout Exclusives as well as other studio exclusives from Warner Bros & Columbia are available through Critics Choice Video, they are a well established distributor, shouts exclusives are also available on Amazon through a Shout approved affliated employee, so they are really not difficult to obtain, easier than your local store ...oh they just went out of business? Can't help with price, but Mr. Ward of Shout suggested (read above) that their selling expectations or greed for a niche series like "Room 222" in my opinion were WAY off base, hence it has been dropped.

Now Room 222 is the first series to be abandoned on a site that was created for series that were abandoned! This does not bode well for future Rhoda, Small Wonder, My Two Dads and others I guess......

I am THRILLED at their announcement of Dennis The Menace" but it just seems they are handling too much product....."Dennis" is a priority now, but by season 4 they will drop it.....yeah like we will ever get the Gale Gordon last season! "Father knows Best" was the only series treated with respect, but luckily we are down to the final season already being prepared.

I was Shouts biggest supporter here and have bought at least 10 on-line exclusives and answered many posters questions on how to get them either through shout or their amazon approved seller......

They now fall into the money grubbing category of Paramount and alike, terrible and very disloyal to their very loyal customers....if they own the license to the series, they could have had no artwork, manufactured on-demand, etc.
You make it out to seem like Shout was never about money and sales and never about making a profit until recently.

Did you get season 2? I just bought Season 2 for about $30 new. Guess who was probably selling it? Yup, Shout TV. It was sold under an assumed name but I go back to amazon often and it's always selling for the same price with no ridiculous markup that people like to charge when a dvd is unavailable. This tells me there's no markup because Shout Factory is selling it directly. Grab yourself season 2 if you don't have it. I want seasons 3,4, and 5 so badly I can almost taste them.

Alan, funny thing is that's how much I paid. I was thinking the same thing. It was shout factory. I even posted on their facebook page that they should sell the rights to the series to TV Land or Nick At Night who would do a better job of restoring and remastering the series so at least we'd have a cleaned up picture. Season two seemed to have less dust on the film then season one but both could have done with some tender, loving care.
