Michael Ian Black has been upgraded to a series regular on Fox’s new comedy "Us & Them".

The actor-comedian-Burning Love host, who plays uncle to Alexis Bledel’s Stacey in the series, appeared as a guest star in the pilot.

i don't see how they couldn't have made the Uncle Bryn character a regular - he is one of the most important (and funniest) characters in the entire show, of course much of that is due to the amazing Rob Brydon.

I think MIB could do a pretty good job as Uncle Bryn, he has to keep it weird though and really bring it with the strange, meandering stories.
