"Nashville" Alum Lands Role on "Mixology"

David Clayton Rogers, who played Gunnar's troubled brother Jason on "Nashville", has booked a role on upcoming ABC comedy "Mixology", The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Rogers will portray Jim, Liv's (Kate Simses) fiance in his 40s, who is unexciting and content, the kind of guy who enjoys scrapbooking and Snuggies. He seems to have proposed mainly to reap the tax benefits of marriage.

He's scheduled for two episodes with the potential for more.

Midseason entry "Mixology" is a a high-concept comedy set in a Manhattan bar taking place over the course of one evening.
