Default my 2 cents for Falcon Crest!!!

Falcon Crest is one of the most unique soap I've ever seen! Falcon Crest is a Vintage Drama classic on its finest! It’s one on the best soap opera show I’ve ever seen. Falcon Crest gives a different perspective to its viewers. It’s a show about the feud between Channing and Gioberti families over the Falcon Crest winery. I wouldn’t spoil so much about it for the ones who haven’t seen this best primetime series yet. All I can say is that the storyline was so upright and all the actors did their best to portray their roles most especially Angelia Channing. All the season are such a blast.

Up to now, I'm still watching this show during weekends from the DVD collection I bought from yourdvdcorner.com. I'm just happy for having this whole collection w/ the entire episodes from the full 9 seasons which is nicely preserved.

Falcon Crest is one of the best show from the 80’s - a very unique primetime soap and that introduce its viewers into world of vineyard.

I NEVER missed an episode of "Desperate Housewives". Still to this day, even though it's not airing, it still holds a special place with me. I felt connected to the characters like they were part of my family.

I never watched any of those Dynasty's or Dallas shows as I was too young. My all-time fav Primetime Soap in the 1990's was Melrose Place. Amazing how it went from a bland show on the verge of being cancelled to an all out action packed Soap. Although I must admit Seasons 6 & 7 lacked the magic of the earlier Seasons.

I wish one the retro stations would bring back Peyton PLace. It was one of the first night time soaps that aired twice a week back in the 1960's.

It also would be nice to see it pop up on DVD. Hey, it launched the careers of two big-time film stars (Mia Farrow and Ryan O'Neal).

There have actually been a couple of DVD sets (Parts 1 & 2) from Shout Factory. They had episodes 001-031 and 032-064, but nothing since.

And the other thing I've got to say about the TV Show version of Peyton Place: What is interesting, or rather creepy, depending on how you look at it, is that the series had not one, but two connections to the controversial filmmaker Roman Polanski.

1) Mia Farrow, who starred on the show from 1964-1966, would be made into a bigger star by Polanski in 1968's Rosemary's Baby, his first of two American motion pictures.

2) Barbara Parkins, who starred on the series for the entire run, also starred with Polanski's slain wife, Sharon Tate, in what is known as the signature film of Sharon Tate, 1967's Valley of the Dolls. Barbara even attended Sharon and Polanski's wedding in January of 1968.

They should just release Peyton Place as a complete box set, just like they're doing with Mary Hartman.

I know that Kasey Rogers (Louise Tate #2, Bewitched) was on PP, did she do both shows at the same time, since Louise Tate was only a recurring role?

It is fun to see an actress like Kasey Rogers play a so different part. On Peyton she was ? having an affair with was Father Harrington and on Bewitched so average type housewife. . It in the early 1980's that I saw Peyton Place but would love to see it again.

I should also point out a few more things about Peyton Place: It was seen on local syndication, USA Network in the 1980's, and the Romance Channel in the last decade.

Isn't it strange how Barbara Parkins seemed on the verge of real stardom one minute (Peyton Place, Valley Of The Dolls), the really just disappeared after that? Did she ever do anything else?
