Music Association Threads New and Revised Rules, New Players Please Read

These new rules will take affect with round #48

Primary game:


#1. If you're a new player and aren't sure how the game is played, it's very simple. Just take a word from the previous song title and post another title with the same word and also include the artist

#2. The only words that are not allowed for the primary association are articles (A, An, The)

#3 A round consists of a minimum of 2 titles

#4 Starting now, a round can go only a maximum of 10 titles. The reason for this is that some rounds have gone for 20 or more and it can get confusing trying to remember which titles have been use in any particular round.

#5. Same time stamps, one of the most frustrating things about this game. After posting, check above you to make sure that nobody posted at the same time. If your post and the one above you have the same time stamp then the first one takes precedence.

#6 Titles cannot be repeated in a round unless it's an entirely different song

#7. No youtube links or embeds, there's plenty of other threads for that


Variations:

Occasionally, other members will start variations of the game and can set their own rules. These may be the same or different as those of the primary game.
