That episode with Leroy's father is one of my favorites (think the title was "I Never Sang For My Father") of the series. I don't really have a favorite parent but if I had to pick one, it'd be Bruno's pops.
EDIT - just realized it's multiple choice, so I'll pick Leroy's dad too. |

I would say bruno's dad because he had so much faith in his son's ability even if his son didn't always have it in himsself. from the movie on to the show, the dad consistly was like that's my kid, listen to his music.

Lee Curreri said on FB that Eddie Barth, who played Angelo in the movie was approached to reprise the role when it came to series. However, he had already signed on with Simon & Simon and wasn't available. Carmine Caridi, while good, just didn't seem as believable as a tough, New York cab driver who while loving his son so much never seemed to realize he was annoying Bruno at the same time!!! Eddie Barth, rest him, played that part to perfection.
