On the 11th of this month, I posted a message on the "Gimme a Break!" page of this site and called it, "The Purse Thing". This was the first time in quite a while, that I managed to post a thread that actually generated some replies! I tried to build on this success by telling my buddies over on the "Mad About You" page what had happened. I called this thread, "Hazel's Purse". This is because Hazel Shermet played the character on "Gimme a Break!" that carried that purse that my initial post was about. When this did not stimulate any conversation, I came over here and posted my thread called, "Hazel's Other Purse". Look one thread below this one and see that there are no replies. Refusing to give up, I went back to "Gimme a Break!" and posted a thread called "A Tale of Three Purse". Earlier this morning, I decided to make a fourth attempt to stimulate some conversation. I went back to "Mad About You" and posted, "Purse Number Four". The last time I checked, it had seven views and zero replies. I then went back to "Gimme a Break!" and posted, "Blow Out the Candles". This was a commemoration post that had to do with a "Sesame Street" routine from the seventies. You see, because this was my fifth thread regarding a given topic, I wanted to post something about the number five. I thought of a "Sesame Street" animated segment that featured a little boy sitting in front of his own birthday cake. The narrator said, "Five Candles Show How Old You Are". The last time that I was there, this thread had four views and zero replies. Now this attempt to stimulate some conversation marks a half a dozen!
