Where about in New York was Ridgemont located at. Was it located near New York City, Yonkers, Albany, Schenectady, Syracuse, Buffalo, or Rochester? Because the Nashes lived in a big fancy mansion, was Ridgemont located on Long Island? The answer to this question will always remain a mystery?

Not sure it was ever stated but my guess would be it was supposed to be in Westchester County somewhere.

The Kerrs lived in Larchmont New York which is an upper class town in Westchester.

Since Joan wrote for the newspaper, I always figured that they lived near New York City, such as in Westchester County.
